The Problem:

The clients came to me after purchasing an original three bedroom Queenslander in the Grange. They had some great ideas of what they wanted to achieve but need help to bring them all together and create the livable family home they dreamed of.

Our Solution:

After exploring a few layout options with the client, we settled on a final design which raised the original house & built-in underneath, providing large open plan living spaces opening out to the garden & pool area with large sliding timber framed doors. The upper level was reserved for more private family uses including bedrooms, bathrooms and a library.

Materials & finishes were chosen to clearly differentiate the new from the old whilst maintaining a consistent theme of contemporary elegance throughout. The use of brick & timber features add warmth & character.
